Our Story
AIPOS is a leading artificial intelligence company that focuses on providing Vision AI solutions to Retail industry.

Established in 2023, AIPOS's research and development team, based in Singapore, consists of seasoned computer scientists and engineers with expertise in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

The idea behind AIPOS was born out of observing the challenges faced by bread shop staff during peak hours. It was clear that the long queues and the need for up to four employees to manage various tasks—such as wrapping bread, checking prices, processing payments, and assisting customers—were causing both physical fatigue and a decline in accuracy.
The constant juggling of tasks, including memorizing prices and ensuring correct totals, added to the operational stress. Hiring additional staff for peak hours seemed like a short-term solution but added to overhead costs.
This inspired the creation of a self-checkout system that could provide customers with an alternative way to pay, reduce operational strain during busy periods, and potentially lower costs for shop owners.
By addressing these challenges, AIPOS aims to help businesses optimize efficiency and even lower prices, offering a sustainable solution amidst rising inflation.
